DIAGNOSTIC APPROACH

Common GPU faults and repair options

Typical fault categories and the repair options we assess. The final scope is confirmed after inspection.

Common issueGeneral repair approach
GPU not detectedCheck power delivery and host compatibility, then assess board-level repair or component replacement based on the findings.
Driver timeouts or disconnectsReview software, cooling and power conditions, address confirmed hardware faults, and retest under the affected workload.
Memory errorsTest memory and supporting circuits, then assess circuit repair, solder-joint rework or GPU/HBM package replacement where feasible.
Overheating or instabilityReview cooling contact, airflow and power behavior, then assess cooling service or board repair and verify stability under load.
PCB or connector damageInspect contacts, traces and board condition, then assess local repair or component transfer to a compatible PCB.

When the route changes

Evidence supports a repair

A localized fault, compatible parts and a workable test plan support a written proposal. Component work starts after approval.

Evidence points beyond the card

Host power, carrier, cooling or software can change the diagnosis. The report identifies the dependency and the agreed next step.

Evidence is incomplete

A non-reproduced failure or a test-platform limitation remains an open finding. We document it and agree on further assessment or return with you.

NVIDIA DIAGNOSTIC SOFTWARE

Manufacturer-developed tools, hardware-specific testing

We use NVIDIA-developed diagnostic software to review device status, error records and functional behavior on supported hardware. Targeted stress tests help us reproduce faults and evaluate stability after repair.

Software results are reviewed alongside electrical measurements, cooling and host-platform findings. The GPU model and compatible test configuration determine the available checks; an error code alone does not establish the root cause.
